Craxel Introduces Time Series Graph Capability in Latest Black Forest™ Software Release

Unmatched Technology Sets New Milestone for Speed, Efficiency, and Security

Fairfax, VA – Oct. 6, 2022 – Craxel, a leading-edge software company, today announced a major release of Black Forest Data Platform™ version 2.2. The patented technology achieved a benchmark for a 100 billion record time series graph reaching insert rates of 30 million records per second on a cloud compute cluster costing $64 per hour compared to alternative clusters requiring 400 compute instances to achieve the same performance.

Black Forest version 2.2 introduces the use of time series graphs, a data management approach that sorts and organizes data and relationships over time. Time series graphs are a natural way for large data-centric organizations to model their largest data challenges to achieve rapid time to insight while connecting the dots across all their data sources and types. Black Forest technology fuses data from many sources at petabyte scale into extensive time series graphs where analysis of the interconnected timelines can detect patterns and insights previously difficult or impossible to detect. In addition, Black Forest’s time series graph implementation utilizes hyperscale storage to deliver rapid time to insight while reducing costs associated with storing and accessing large datasets.

“Black Forest time series graph technology is proving to be game-changing for enterprise organizations with the largest data challenges,” said David Enga, Founder and CEO of Craxel. “They simply have not had this capability in the past, and now they are presented with a new way to organize their data and realize previously unattainable price/performance for their systems, all built on a highly secure, zero trust framework.”

Parallel to the technology updates, Black Forest version 2.2 fully integrates with hyperscale services for compute, storage, and security policy. These services are utilized to access and govern resource utilization as well as automated deployment and configuration of Black Forest. These features prepare version 2.2 for deployment in enterprise and government programs requiring the highest levels of security.
